UXC Classes

Thank you for your interest in the Utah Xtreme Cheer "Class" page.  Here, you will find information on classes taught at UXC.  Please look around this page and find a class that fits your needs.  If you do not see a class posted that you would like to take, please contact Kory or Morgan.  Should there be enough interest and available time, we will do our best to accomodate your desired class.  If you have not yet taken a class at UXC, please go to our "Athlete Forms" page, download the appropriate form and bring it in to the gym on your first visit.  Also, if this is your first visit as a class student, there is an annual gym registration fee of $35.  Please bring this in with your paperwork.

Monday

  If you are interested in setting up a private lesson with any of our awesome coaches, please feel free to call or e-mail us to set up a time for you.  Whether it is stunting, tumbling or just want to come in and get extra help for tryouts, please call to set up a time!

Tuesday

 Tuesday is the first day of the week that tumbling classes are taught.  This class will be run by Jocelyn.  Jocelyn heads up our recreational tumbling classes for the 2011-2012 season.  The class options are as follows: 

4:00-5:00 p.m. - Intermediate Tumbling

This class is designed and targeted to those that are working on their backhandspring.  The fundamentals taught in this class will drastically improve your backhandspring.

Class Fee: $10/Person/Class*

5:00-6:00 p.m. - Advanced Tumbling

In our Advanced Tumbling class, Jocelyn will teach the proper progression to athletes learning how to further their tumbling.  Tucks (standing and running) and Layouts will be the material taught in this class.

Class Fee: $10/Person/Class*

8:30-10:00 p.m. - "All levels" Tumbling

In our Open Tumbling class, one of our great instructors will help tumblers with any pass or skill that they desire.

Class Fee: $10/Person/Class*

Wednesday

8:00-10:00 p.m. - Open Gym

In our Open Gym Session, you are able to use our floor to practice your skills.  This is a great class to attend if you are wanting to learn how to partner stunt or if you are needing just a little bit of extra practice. If you are interested in attending an Open Gym Session, please go to our "UXC Forms" link and download a "Open Gym" Waiver.  Bring this form to your next class.

Class Fee: $2/Person/Session

Both Mondays and Wednesdays are our Open Gym Nights. 

Thursday

Thursday is the third day in the week that our recreational tumbling classes will be taught.  Jocelyn will take each athlete and move them through the proper progressions of being a better tumbler.  If you missed out on our Tuesday and Wednesday classes, don't fret!  With our classes, you are able to attend whenever is convenient for you!  Below is the recreational tumbling class schedule.

4:00-5:00 p.m. - Intermediate Tumbling

5:00-7:00 p.m. - Cheerleading Prep

In our Cheer Prep class, one of our great instructors will teach kids the basics involved with cheerleading.  Dances, cheers, basic tumbling, basic stunting, motions and jumps will all be addressed in this class.  If you or someone you know are interested in learning how to cheer (school or all-star), this class is for you!

Class Fee: $15/Person/Class*
